I was fighting off the blues this week, and it zapped my writing capabilities.

Alexia, the host, is super smart and had so much rich insight to offer, and it was also so fun to dig deeper into the kink elements of the film. PPS: Paid subscribers know that part of my lists includes things that bring me joy/that I’m paying attention to, but I had to share this above the paywall: sex workers in Mexico City stormed the judicial building after the attempted murder of a trans woman. These acts of people power are so important to witness, to see that it’s possible, to know that we can choose to be brave and stand up to the state. <3
