Just over here crying at these words in particular: "The lesson of the fungi, and the wisdom of various communities spanning the history of the Earth, is that we keep imagining. I love this piece and your writing...after I lost my dad to covid, support and donations poured in. It made me wonder why can't this support always be present? why do tragedy and disaster help us help each other? "I think I am alone and then I scroll Twitter." (lol same)
